How much coffee you want to brew. The actual coffee in your cup will be less since the coffee grains will retain about twice the weight of the coffee grounds.

Some prefer to use a mix ratio of grams coffee per 1000 ml of water. If you want to try this, use the top one.

    • Percolation is a common word for drip, either your V60, Chemex or your coffee machine.
    • Infusion is a word for all types of brewing where the coffee and water steep together for a longer period of time before the finished coffee is poured into the cup. AeroPress and French Press are typical use-cases for these.
